The first thing to do, whenever you are going to work on your German learning, is to get the wheels turning. And in this lesson we're going to do that using the vocabulary list! You'll want to print it out or have the PDF readily available.

First, read through the vocabulary list and check off the words you know already. You'll know the word if you look at it and recognize that you can use that word in a conversation most of the time when you try to use it.
TIP: If nearly all or most of the words are new to you, I recommend you work with these words for 2-3 days so you are more familiar with them before you continue on. You could use flashcards, an app, or you could simply write them out by hand.

Thank you for das Wald exercise. On my first pass I understood several of the words due to the helpful vocabulary list. After several more readings, I understood more context, but not the full sentence instruction. I will keep at it!
