Methodology course + Audios + Texts
These are real German news articles from the dpa, theย deutsche presse agentur (also known by their Denglisch name of German News Service), however these are all peaceful articles--no bad news here!
Here are sample lessons for 3 groups of German learners:
- A1 - If you're still working with an A1 book, this is the series for you. There is a minimum of past tense used in these articles so you can really focus on your listening skills.
- A2 - If you've completed the A1 level and/or are working through the A2 level, this is the series for you. There is some past tense and reported speech (Konjunktiv I) is kept to a minimum.
- B1 - C2 - for all other learners, this series is very close to the original articles, however the pace is a little slower and the pronunciation is still really clear. We could call this "German learner speed."
