Der Wald in Deutschland (The Forest in Germany) is a reading, vocabulary, and listening lesson made by Frau Warner. It's available to you at no charge as part of Tag der deutschen Sprache (German Language Day), started by the Verein Deutsche Sprache e.V., celebrated on the second Saturday of September every year.
In this 30-minute lesson you’ll learn:
- 25+ vocabulary words pertaining to the forest and animals in the German forests
- what the surface area is of Germany’s forests.
- which activities you can enjoy in the forest.
- 10 names of different animals in the forest, including one poisonous animal.
- what the Foresters there do.
Plus, you’ll get to learn this lesson using Frau Warner’s tried-and-true methodology, developed in over 7,000 hours working with German learners just like you. (She's also certified to teach German as a Foreign Language by the Goethe-Institut, and before that she taught English as a Foreign Language, so you know you're in good hands.)
