Learn the ‘Ordinalzahlen’ in German and more about the culture.
Take a live, online class with Frau Warner on December 1, 2024 at 12 noon US-Central time.
Learn and practice the cardinal numbers in German (1st, 3rd, 17th, 21st) in the Nominativ and the Dativ from December 1st to 25th, 2024.

These are numbers like 1st, 3rd, 17th, 23rd. We use them to keep things in order, tell which thing we're talking about, and most importantly to discuss dates on the calendar.
We will practice die Ordinalzahlen in the Nominative and Dative cases.
This Adventskalender is for you if:
- You've taken at least one German class and can conjugate verbs like gehen, schließen, and besuchen.
- You speak bunches of German, and you need/want to review the cardinal numbers (1st, 4th, 23rd).
- You’d like to work on it for 5 - 10 minutes a day.
- You’d like to learn a few things along the way via a photo or two, an interesting link to visit, or a tidbit about Germanic culture.
This Adventskalender is not for you if:
- You don't speak any German at all.
- You've already mastered the Ordinalzahlen.
But really it's for almost every German learner.
After you've registered:
- You'll automatically be registered for the live, Zoom class on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 12 noon Central. If you can’t make the live class, you can watch the instructional video provided as often as you want between December 1 and 25.
- You'll automatically receive the worksheets via email.
- You’ll receive a daily email from December 1 - December 25 with the link to the day’s exercise and, of course, to the instructional video.
