Happy New Year, everyone!

2. Coming soon: new colors & graphics
With the advent of the Klub, which you can read about below, it was a good time to revamp the colors and graphics you see here on the blog. Currently the plan is to get everything uploaded and in use in February 2020, so it's really close already.
I think you'll like the fresh colors and the combinations. The whole color scheme will be cohesive and there's a new logo in the works, too. I've never had a definite logo for this business before, and I think it's time. Es ist an die Zeit.
So when you come visit the site and read blog posts in February, be prepared for a whole new color scheme!
Last and definitely the most newsworthy:
3. Visit the new home for the Klub
You've probably already heard about the GermanWithNicole Klub, an online activities Klub that helps you learn German as a Foreign Language. It opened up last October and by early November it was clear: the technology was a fail.
It was a fail like the time I tried to re-tell a news story in German and I used the wrong word for the past tense of "shot." (It was an accident, but it was embarassing.)
(I did learn "geschossen," for the record.)
So first I did what all mature, well-educated people do when their technology fails: I sat down on the couch and bawled my eyes out.
Then I wiped my red, tear-stained face, and thought about what I needed to do. I needed to weed out the problem--yank it out by the roots. What was the root of the problem? The platform.
Back I went to the computer and started researching, and luckily enough someone recommended I check out Simplero. It's a powerful, yet simple-to-use platform that works like a charm.
Check it out for yourself: https://Klub.GermanWithNicole.com .
Wir sehen uns im Klub! See you in the Klub!
